The Grand Island Independent was cool enough to bring me along to help cover the Huskers game against Colorado. Some of the highlights included Jon Guyden proposing to his girlfriend before the game (she said yes), the "King" from the Burger King commercial running onto the field and the final score.

December: O-town has treated Jessica and I real well. I'm working at the Omaha World Herald as a sportswriter and Jessica started her job last month. We have a lot to be thankful for during the Holiday season!
November: The big news these days is the wedding. "How is married life?" is a question asked by many these days. It's been a blessing so far! Well...have you ever seen those Corona commercials with the couple sitting on the beach? So far married life has been miles away from ordinary. It's great spending time with Jessica, even though it is just the two of us out here. We spend a lot of time looking for new jobs and finding friends to hang out with. I'm sure I'll look back at this time fondly and remember how much fun it was learning how to cook.
September: Jess and I are both currently looking for new jobs. Jessica is a J-major as well and looking for something in broadcasting. I have five months experience as a Sports Editor under my belt but looking forward to starting somewhere fresh with Jess.
